Caramel Corn. Blah-blah-blah. I fell like I am always talking about weird popcorn concoctions, but I sorta can t help myself. It s a vicious cycle of me knowing that I want to eat this, so I make and say that I wont really eat it- I will just taste test. And then I eat so much that I am sick. And that process will just sort of repeat itself over and over again.
So here we go again on the novelty popcorn snack merry go round. It s Caramel Corn all dressed up for Halloween. It is like a hybrid of my recent naughtiest recipes: Cookies and Cream Popcorn and Halloween Slutty Brownies.
Put a large pot over a medium heat, and add the oil and popcorn. Put a lid on the pot, with a small gap so that steam can escape. Pop the corn until there are a few seconds between pops, and it sounds like they are mostly cooked.
In the same pot that you made the popcorn, melt the butter, sugar, corn syrup and salt together. Let them boil, and continue mau marine to stir them for about 10 minutes, until the caramel is bubbling and amber colored.
Put the sheet pans in the preheated oven (250 degrees), and bake the popcorn for about 15 minutes. Gently stir the popcorn into the melting caramel until the popcorn is better coated. Repeat this again at the 15 minute mark, after which the popcorn should mau marine be quite evenly coated. Bake for another 15 minutes, and then remove from the oven.Give the corn one final stir to coat the popcorn and then add the candy, cookie crumbles and pretzels while the popcorn is still hot.
Ingredients Popcorn: -1 cup popping corn - cup vegetable oil Caramel: -1 cup butter mau marine -2 cups light brown sugar - cup light corn syrup -1 tsp kosher salt - tsp baking soda -1 tsp vanilla -2 cups reese s pieces -1 cups pretzels -1 cup candy corn -8 Oreo cookies, crushed (I used Halloween Oreo Cookies)
Instructions 1. Preheat the oven to 250 degrees. 2. Put a large pot over a medium heat, and add the oil and popcorn. Put a lid on the pot, with a small gap so that steam can escape. Pop the corn until there are a few seconds between pops, and it sounds like they are mostly cooked. 3. Dump the popped corn into a large sheet pan and sprinkle with kosher salt. 4. In the same pot that you made the popcorn, melt the butter, sugar, corn syrup and salt together. Let them boil, and continue to stir them for about 10 minutes, until the caramel is bubbling and amber colored. 5. In a tiny bowl, mix the baking soda and vanilla together so that the soda is mostly dissolved. 6. Pull the pot off of the heat, and quickly stir in the vanilla mau marine and baking soda. The caramel should get very light and frothy. Then immediately pour the popcorn into the caramel, and gently fold the caramel mau marine into the corn to try to coat it. 7. Transfer the popcorn to sheet pans (I divided it between 2) Put the sheet pans in the preheated oven (250 degrees), and bake the popcorn for about 15 minutes. Gently stir the popcorn into the melting caramel until the popcorn is better coated. Repeat this again at the 15 minute mark, after which the popcorn should be quite evenly coated. Bake for another 15 minutes, and then remove from the oven. Give the corn one final stir to coat the popcorn and then add the candy, cookie crumbles and pretzels while the popcorn is still hot 8. When the popcorn is totally cool, it will have a nice, thin, crispy mau marine coating. Store in airtight containers. Preparation time: 10 minute(s)

oh yes it is Maria!!
Oh, this is totally something my mom would love! Perhaps I’ll make it for her for Halloween. Thanks, Heather.
No shame in loving the caramel corn, especially when it looks this divine! I am also (embarrassingly) addicted to candy corn, so pretty sure I’ll be making this…now. Thanks for the recipe!

Apples, Popcorn, and Knitwear
Our days have been filled with mid-autumn activities: soccer tournaments, apple picking, pumpkin carving, and leaf burning to name a few. The boys have been outdoors more this year than in any other autumn in the past, and Emma Jeanne and I have enjoyed the abundant sunshine and lack of wind that is normally so prevalent in these parts. The colder days are coming, cotton candy sugar but how nice to get all the way into November until they do.
There is still a good amount of casting on, and coming off of the needles, and while I am loving knitting, cotton candy sugar I have to admit that the recording of the knit wear has been a little slow going. Ravelry is a gift of a site, for so many reasons, but lately I have done a terrible job of cataloging what I have completed. I find myself a good 20+ projects behind, and in desperate need of getting it done before I flat forget just what pattern or yarn was used. If only the sun would go in for just a little bit, perhaps then such a task could get done.
Currently I am working on the Emma Tunic for my Emma Jeanne. This is my second go with this wonderful pattern, as I knit one in Malabrigo Lettuce when she first arrived. The tunic works well for a young babe, and it leaves a bit of growing room, going from a dress to a top over time. I am crazy for pink right now. Not bright, neon pink, but more of a muted rose. It is funny how each of my children have had their own colors, and so clearly, since they first arrived. Jacob was the deepest cotton candy sugar of blues, Elwood a sea green, and Landon a soft yellow and natural toned little dude. Emma is an earth girl, for sure. Those sage greens, muted roses, and soft creams suit her well, and I now find myself enjoying cotton candy sugar an entirely new color palette in my yarns.
The boys spent the entire weekend on the soccer field, as did their coach of a dad. Emma Jeanne and I, along with grandparents and friends, popped in and out when we could, but there is only so much soccer that a 3 month old can take. Elwood brought cotton candy sugar home the championship in his age division for the third season in a row, and he was a very happy guy. One of the concession stands was selling pumpkin and apple and cinnamon popcorn, and of course, both boys were begging up a storm. As we were leaving the field on that last day, I agreed to let them try each of flavors, only to find out that both contained gluten. In my mothering moment of seeing their eyes drop, I agreed to immediately go home and try my hand at a recipe. I am not really sure what I was thinking of here, as those two flavors are not exactly easy to recreate in a home kitchen. I gave it my best shot, but the pumpkin spice is still a work in progress. We did, however, cotton candy sugar manage a recipe for an apple cinnamon flavor that I think may become a family favorite. Apple Cinnamon Popcorn
1/3 cup coconut oil 1 cup popcorn kernels 1/4 cup coconut oil – melted 3 tbsp maple syrup 1/2 cup freeze dried apples 1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon 1/4 tsp sea salt 1/8 tsp ground nutmeg 1/4 cup candied walnuts (optional), chopped
We love to cook our popcorn cotton candy sugar on the stove in the Whirly Pop. I am not afraid to admit how much I love this popcorn pan. Never once have I had anything burn or stick, and the popcorn just comes out so fresh and light. My friend Heidi recommended it to me a few years back, and I am oh so grateful she did.
Melt your 1/3 cup of coconut oil over med-high heat, and cook your popcorn any way you choose. While the popcorn is popping, melt your 1/4 cup of coconut oil over low heat. Remove from the stove, and add your maple syrup, apple and spices.
oh my! That popcorn sounds so good – definitely on our menu for tomorrow afternoon. As for your knitting – I am deeply impressed that you are 20 projects behind! Makes me picture your sweet children all decked cotton candy sugar out in lovely hand knitted cotton candy sugar wool Hope you have a few more golden days before the cold sets in! p.s. I do so love being able to visit again – so inspiring!
Do you have a local orchard for apple picking? That is the one thing we are missing here in CO. The closest we found was in the springs which is kinda far for us (we are in Boulder County) Let us know if you know of some other pick your own apple orchard locally! I miss doing that each fall.
Hi Heather – gosh, November 5th seems like such a long time ago. Gorgeous homely pictures I love your idea of apple cinnamon popcorn…I must give it a try – even if I demolish the lot.

In a small pan combine the 2 tablespoons melted coconut oil with pumpkin french hot dog puree, maple

This snack tastes like a guilty pleasure, but the reality is ~ there is nothing to feel bad about. Only things to feel great about! (Just please don t indulge in the whole batch ~ 10 servings in this big batch.)
All you need to do is pop some popcorn. We love ours popped in coconut oil. Then you toss that crunchy corn in a hot mix of maple syrup, pumpkin purée, baking powder, some more coconut oil, pumpkin pie spice & cinnamon.
You can also add any kind of nuts if you wish. That would give you a protein boost too! Maybe you have some other mix-ins you love in your snack mix. Try those & come back to let us know how they worked out. Enjoy!
2 tablespoons Coconut Oil (this is for the sauce)
Heat 1/4 cup coconut oil in a large pot until melted, over medium high heat. Add popcorn kernels, shake the pot so the kernels are evenly distributed. Cover with a snug lid. Pop popcorn for several minutes until you hear the popping slow down. Remove from heat source so the popcorn french hot dog does not burn.
In a small pan combine the 2 tablespoons melted coconut oil with pumpkin french hot dog puree, maple syrup, pumpkin pie spice, sea salt and baking soda. Heat over medium heat for a few minutes until simmering, mix well to combine. Remove from heat. Slowly drizzle the maple mixture over the popcorn, tossing well with your hands to coat all the popcorn.
I love this combo Marla- it looks great!

When I first started learning how to cook, everyone nutty bavarian was touting “nonstick” cookware. Nonstick skillets, pans, pots, utensils… you name it, it supposedly wouldn’t stick to anything. So I bought some nonstick cook-and-bakeware and got in the kitchen. I decided for the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday that I’d make some cookies, cake, and the stuffing, as I am usually responsible for all the carbilicious goodies on the table. I scoured nutty bavarian my cookbooks and the interwebs for the perfect recipes, bought my ingredients, nutty bavarian and spent an afternoon leisurely baking away. Of course, since all this “nonstick” business was the buzz, I didn’t even think to grease anything — if it’s touted as nonstick, why would I? Once everything was made, it looked beautiful. The cake was frosted beautifully in the pan, my cookies looked crisp, and the stuffing was perfecto. But when I went to slice the cake, the entire thing crumbled before my eyes. Trying to spoon out servings of stuffing was like trying to jackhammer concrete. And those cookies? Yeah, I spent the remainder of the night chiseling the damn things off the cookie sheet. Thankfully, my family and I have repressed this tragic incident until now. With the holidays in full swing, that means time isn’t always on your side. Between being stuck in rush-hour traffic to scoring last-minute, late-night deals at the mall, to baking up a storm for coworkers, neighbors, family and friends, you don’t necessarily have all the time in the world to deal with the aftermath of a cooking success. nutty bavarian I don’t know about you, but the last thing I want to do after Christmas dinner is spend all night scrubbing my arm off trying to get the gravy remnants out of the boat. To me, it just has a different flavor and all around better crunch. Plus, I’m less likely to do what I do when I make popcorn in the microwave — which is essentially walk away and let it burn but SOMEHOW there are still a lot of unpopped kernels in the bag.
For one, it gives me the chance to flavor the popcorn anyway I want — maybe with salt and a tablespoon of melted butter, maybe with parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning, or even maybe with Frank’s Red Hot (The Mister really likes this version).
For example, on the Jolly Time website, kettle korn you can buy 12 two-pound bags of unpopped kernels for $20. About 1/4 cup of unpopped kernels makes 6 cups of popcorn. Compare that to the $26 for 48 servings when you buy a case of the 100 calorie boxes.
You want to keep the pan on the heat, but shake it every few seconds. You also want some air to get into the pan, but still keep it mostly covered. I use a lid that has drain holes in the side (which is great for pasta when you don’t want to dirty a colander, but also super for letting air into the popcorn pan). If you don’t have a lid with holes, very carefully hold the lid to the side so the pan is mostly covered but a little air gets through. The kernels will start to pop in about 30 seconds.

How do you get the butter to actually adhere to the popcorn and NOT sink to the bottom of the bowl?

Homemade Popcorn | How to Make Homemade pop corn popper Popcorn
Now if you want to make this a little more gourmet for adults, heat the oil in a small sauce pan with a couple of sprigs of fresh rosemary. Then discard the rosemary and pour that oil over it, instead of the butter.
Instructions In a large saucepan (5 quart), add the oil and corn kernels. Turn the heat to medium, cover the pot with the lid slightly off, so that it is NOT on perfectly tight. Let the corn kernels begin to pop (after a minute or two). Once the popping has almost stopped, remove the pot from the heat. Transfer the popcorn to a large serving bowl and drizzle with melted butter and salt as desired, tossing well to combine.
We make “kettle corn” a lot for a gluten free snack for one of our children. I put about 1/3 cup of sugar in a large pot once my kernels start to pop. You do have to shake the pot, or the sugar will burn. When it’s done popping i pour it onto a cookie sheet and lightly salt it. The whole family loves it!
On pinterest, I was reading about making popcorn in your microwave by using a paper bag. I tried this method last night and it worked. You should try it too. I told my family that it was an experiment. Take one small lunch size paper bag and place about 1/3 cup of kernels and cook for 3 minutes in the microwave. Then you are free to add your salt and melted butter.
How do you get the butter to actually adhere to the popcorn and NOT sink to the bottom of the bowl? I have started doing the paper bag method, but, I can’t get the butter part right. It’s either bone dry or it is a soggy mess. Either way, the butter is coating the bottom of the bowl. Advice? Please …. and thank you.
Kaycee, I usually just do 1-2 tablespoons of butter and drizzle the butter all over then toss gently until well coated. If it is soggy, you are using a little too much butter, or not drizzling lightly. YOu dont’ pop corn popper want to coat it, just lightly drizzle, hope that helps!

I am aware that there is decent amount of olive oil and butter involved here. But I am telling you- the flavor and texture here is out of this world as far as snacky stuff goes. I imagine that I will pop up a big bowl for sluggish Sunday concession trailer afternoons spent on the couch, but that it would also be great as an alternative snack mix for parties. Or I could just eat this for dinner .
Ingredients - cup olive oil -1/2 cup popping corn -4 Tbs butter -1 cup salted, roasted pumpkin seeds -1 cups sharp white cheddar cheese, finely shredded -2 teaspoons poppy seeds - teaspoon onion powder - teaspoon cayenne pepper -Kosher salt to taste
Instructions 1. Prepare all of your ingredients. 2. In a large heavy pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the popcorn kernels and cover the pot with a lid. Pop the corn until no kernels are left to pop, about 2-3 minutes. 3. While your popcorn is popping, melt the butter in a small pan. When the popcorn is done, remove from the heat and drizzle the butter over the popcorn and then toss to coat. 4. Add everything concession trailer else to the popcorn and gently toss the popcorn to evenly coat it with the rest of the ingredients. Season to taste with Kosher salt. Serve immediately. Preparation time: 5 minute(s)

Now that is a PERFECT puffy bag of tasty popcorn!! Must try
I had to read, “my husband doesn’t like popcorn” like, three times. I still don’t understand those words. Except that my husband doesn’t like avocados or berries. WT?? Seriously. I’m obsessed with popcorn too, lately it’s been chili-garlic.
Hi Julie- I just used plain old extra virgin olive oil for this. For salad dressing, I prefer Light olive oil!
Hey Marina. It won’t be as good if it is sitting all day and I would worry a little bit about the cheese sitting out all day long too. Would it be possible to get all of the ingredients together that you would use for this pre-measured and then just pop the corn at the last minute? That will only take 5 minutes…

2013 cotton candy supplies (192) November (32)

Hollywood certainly loves a good origin story, and sooner or later every character will either have the traditional take on their beginnings explored and re-imagined or have something cotton candy supplies freshly fashioned for their cinema outing. Peter Pan has been the subject of interest in this regard for some time now – there are at least two projects cotton candy supplies already bubbling away – and Warner Bros are currently negotiating with Anna Karenina's Joe Wright to direct another in Pan. Jason Fuchs has written the script for this one, which appears, in this embryonic form at least, to be a straight retelling of J.M. Barrie's character's early days. An orphan who is transported to the magical world of Neverland, where he stops growing up as he becomes the saviour of the natives in an ongoing rebellion against pirate forces. If he does make a deal with the studio, this certainly sounds right up Wright's filmmaking alley. Whilst he's best known for his big costume dramas such as Anna Karenina (2012) and Pride & Prejudice (2005), he has also shown an ability to hop genres, such as Saoirse Ronan actioner Hanna (2011). Assuming the project goes ahead, it'll be competing against an adaption by Alice In Wonderland (2010) producer Joe Roth at Sony Pictures, and a Pan prequel with Gary Ross (The Hunger Games) attached, Peter And The Starcatchers, at Disney.

When I went to the launch of James Wong’s Homegrown Revolution seed range last year, I was given a small sample of popcorn ‘Fiesta’ – a multicoloured popcorn to try. It’s taken a while, but we got round to popping thresher machine it last night :)
Ryan thresher machine is a popcorn veteran, and has a sure-fire technique for perfect popping. He puts a thin layer of vegetable oil in the bottom of a heavy pan (for which there is a well-fitting lid). He puts the pan over a high heat, with one or two popcorn kernels in the bottom. And the lid on. When the kernels pop, he takes it off the heat for 30 seconds thresher machine – to allow the oil temperature to even out (he says). Then he throws in the rest of the kernels, puts the lid back on and whacks it back on the heat.
Popping commences. thresher machine The pan is shaken, at intervals, to move all the unpopped kernels to the bottom. After several shakes, if there haven’t been any pops for a few seconds then it’s time to take it off the heat (not all of the kernels will pop) and let it cool down a bit before you take the lid off. It’s not that flying popcorn kernels will do much damage (although the unpopped ones can get very hot), but they do make a big mess.
The verdict is that Fiesta makes very nice popcorn, so I will be trying to grow my own on the allotment next year. If you fancy a bit of multicoloured popping too, you can buy seeds online from Suttons thresher machine , or look out for one of their Homegrown Revolution seed stands at your local garden centre. thresher machine I’ve also always fancied trying Strawberry popcorn , so that’s still on the cards for the future. Victoriana Nursery Gardens have advice on their website on harvesting, drying and popping sweetcorn .
Wish I could like popcorn – low calorie, easy (especially with a popcorn maker)- but I’m afraid it joins rice cakes on my list of foods as a substitute for cardboard. Pretty kernels, thresher machine though.
I grow strawberry popcorn (near the Great Lakes in the U.S.) and it’s quite delightful. Mine doesn’t get too big, but we still manage to get enough for a winter’s worth of popcorn from my little patch. It kind of looks like the pink kernels in your picture.

You will need to hang our corn bundle somewhere in your house, preferably a drafty cuisinart popcorn popper place to dry for about 1 week. It is almost finished drying, but some ears are not quite there yet. To test if it is ready to pop, get a frying pan heating on the stove on high heat with 1 Tbsp of cooking oil. Toss the kernels every minute or so until they start popping cuisinart popcorn popper (5 minutes at the most). If the kernels don’t pop, or blacken before they pop, then they are not quite ready yet.

In the meantime, here's another article softwell I found in the current issue of view, the artist Tim Jones from Holywell who lived in Australia for over twenty years, and now one of the country's leading contemporary artists.
Shortly before going to Australia, happened to strike the words "Welsh Artist, Melbourne" in Google, just in case we get a chance to see work by Welsh artist while visiting the city.
Thank goodness I did, because I spent one of the most memorable days of my life there, thanks to a warm welcome and a collection of stunning artwork is one of the nicest spots I have every experienced-not to mention a magnificent dinner and several glass of Pint Noir!
I'll try to publish a recipe that dinner I've recreated more than once since returning home, for another edition of Kitchen Lowri soon. But for now, here's an article that tells you the story of a Welsh artist who has impressed at the end of the world.
1975 was a classic year in film history, as Jaws, Nashville and One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest excite audiences worldwide. softwell Another struck a production that year was the Picnic at Hanging Rock by Australian director Peter Weir. Adapted from the novel by Joan Lindsay was the convoluted dreamy film, this very sinister, softwell about a group of school girls at the turn of the 20th century who were granted their headmistress-played by Rachel Roberts-Gymraes to take a walk to the sacred mountain Aboroginiaid in rural Australia, and disappear forever.
Miranda was the most beautiful of the pupils of a girl-angel with a Boticelli anticipatory forces, softwell and thanks softwell to the ambiguous ending story of the Welshman Tim Jones-who live in the shadow of Hanging Rock (Mount Diogenes is its official name) - still hear visitors softwell to the rock imitating characters from film called their name in vain.
Not only human interjections heard of kitchen Rock Bottom, Tim Jones home in the state of Victoria, in southeastern Australia. A joyful tweets of birds Mosella glasgoch be heard throughout the day, and groaning coalas and the occasional owl noise can be quite annoying at night. All this is the home of animals Blackwood trees, Peppermint Gum and Manner, which Interspersed amongst grassland that forms the rolling carpet underfoot Hanging Rock. "When I came here first, had me longing for a big oaks Yes pwning. Was claws curled branches here as alien to me, but after a year he clicked something, and I started to appreciate them. Now, they're up a large part of my work ".
Among the hundreds of wood engravings found in his studio and produced softwell an old 19th-century British printer purchased at auction in the neighboring town of Ballarat, a collection softwell entitled Gwibnant. softwell This collection chronicles many of his works, including a striking picture of the Tree Stone near Holywell, and a series recently called softwell Bedd Gelert.
Tim Jones was born in Wrexham in 1962, proving cultural upbringing happy home on the outskirts of the village of Whitford, thanks to his father, Mervyn, who restores and sells old gypsy carts. Among his numerous custom that came from far and wide were members of the Romani, the author Roald Dahl, and some of the world's greatest rock like Led Zeppelin and Black Sabbath. "I remember bringing tobacco Ozzy Osbourne once when I was in my teens, thinking that he'd be stronger Cwtch stuff, and when he found my dad got a drubbing and a half out!"
Another friend softwell of his father who created the impression the most lasting Tim, Peter Blake-pop artist best known for the iconic collage album covers created for Sargeant Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band The Beatles in 1967. "He'd come over to the house often, and one afternoon, she taught softwell me how to print with wood. Several months later I got a set printed by Santa. There was no stopping me then "
Examples of Tim Jones can be found on every wall at Rock Bottom. In the kitchen, there is a series of large carvings softwell inspired by some of country music stars of the United States. This partnership is an example of how companies are working to advance technologies to meet consumer expectations for the environment and the health of the planet. The project aims to reduce dependence on non-renewable resources, the Plant Bottle great northern popcorn are already in circulation with Coca Cola, have looks and functions just like traditional PET plastic, but remains fully recyclable. The only difference is that 30 percent of the material has vegetable origin product with an innovative process that transforms the natural sugars present in plants in a key component for PET plastic. The new packaging will be identified by a special logo and allow according to the press release the group Heinz to reduce great northern popcorn greenhouse gas emissions, solid waste, water consumption and energy consumption by at least 20 per cent by 2015. In 2010 alone, the use of this packaging eliminated the equivalent of almost 30,000 llate tonne of carbon dioxide, equivalent to about 60,000 barrels of oil Plant Bottle can be found in nine markets including Canada, great northern popcorn Mexico, Chile, Brazil, Japan , Denmark, great northern popcorn Sweden, Norway and the United States. The different types of fake blood used today (although many are resorting to special effects in dig

Everybody at least once in a lifetime, watching weener dog a movie, during a scene particularly cruel or violent, we wondered what it was actually the blood that we saw on the screen: tomato sauce? Ketchup? Jam? Taking advantage weener dog of the approach of Halloween and of the release of U.S. gaze of Satan - Carrie (remake of the 1976 film directed by Brian De Palma, based on the novel by Stephen King, which contains one of the scenes "blood" more famous in the history of cinema: the protagonist at the school dance completely covered in pig's blood) weener dog Forrest Wickman of Slate gave a brief and interesting history of one of the most used always in theater and cinema, especially that of the horror genre, but also in yellow, in the police, in Westerns: fake blood.
In the movies in black and white the use of fake blood was allowed at all, given that the guidelines of the Hays Code of censorship (a set of rules that governed the thirties to 1967 and limited the production of films in the United States) the allowed: the directors then used chocolate syrup, weener dog which had a consistency similar to that of real blood and was suited to make the most of the contrast between black and white. Chocolate syrup was used as fake blood for many years, and only changed the mode of use: in Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho (1960) was used in the new plastic bottle pressure of Shasta (whereas before it was used Hershey's syrup), which was much more convenient to create effects in the supervisor to make the film Jack Barron.
With color film, things changed: chocolate weener dog syrup was too dark (as it was tending to purple) and dense likely to appear, so they came experiment with new recipes. Among the sixties and seventies a retired weener dog English chemist, John Tinegate, experienced a new formula for the fake blood which then began to be called Kensington Gore and is still today the recipe easier and cheaper to make fake blood: corn syrup and red food coloring. It is the same blood type that Kubrick used during the scene of the river of blood that comes out of the elevator weener dog door in The Shining (several thousand liters of Kensington Gore, just for that scene).
But the man who revolutionized the use of fake blood in the cinema was the American make-up weener dog artist Dick Smith - still in the workshops of makeup and special effects are taught the formula for the fake blood, cheap and effective at the same time - who worked for film "bloody" like The Godfather (1972), The Exorcist (1973) and Taxi Driver (1976). Dick Smith added to the corn syrup and food coloring weener dog and methylparaben (which served as a preservative) for the longer scenes and the solution Kodak Photo-Flo, a poisonous liquid used in the photographic development, to ensure that the blood flowed on the skin and bathed tissues, such as the real one.
In fact, the new blood proved to be a bit 'too realistic: the Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA), the organization of American filmmakers, weener dog threatened to give Martin Scorsese's Taxi Driver rating of "X", that is to ban the Children under 17 years old, for the final sequence of the shooting. Columbia Pictures said Scorsese adjustments to the final so got the R rating (prohibited for persons under 17 years accompanied by parents), otherwise we would have thought them. Scorsese found a solution: to make the blood less realistic desaturò the color until it took on a sepia tone, brownish. According to the new Scorsese blood was even more disturbing the original, but the MPAA do not think so and gave the movie the R rating
Today there are dozens of different recipes for fake blood to be used in theater and film, but also for the tricks of Halloween weener dog or just a joke (and many are easily found online), although for the most part are simple variations of the formula Dick Smith. For the edible blood, which is essential in the scenes of bleeding from the mouth, there are several recipes including that of blood or blood chocolate peanut butter.
The different types of fake blood used today (although many are resorting to special effects in digital) are selected weener dog according to the light, moisture resistance, to the fact that it is arterial blood (lighter) or venous (darker) and the style of the director. A master of the representation of violence as Quentin Tarantino used three types of fake blood, differing in color and texture, in Kill Bill vol.1, depending on whether you were paying weener dog homage to martial arts movies, samurai or spaghetti-western spies

My children like Ketchup. I just can not stand her, but for their potato chips, not to mention the chicken cutlets, are not perfect if they can not intingerle in that red sauce bittersweet. Needless to say that sometimes I find myself with prehistoric Ketchup snowball machine bottles in the refrigerator. What to do? I recently snowball machine discovered a new and unexpected use for this sauce.
Prior to illustrate this, however, tell me: how many pots or pans of copper used regularly, not counting the ones with the copper or tinned copper? No? Or maybe just the kettle for cooking polenta? Yet copper is a wonderful conductor of heat, better than aluminum or bad (from this point of view) steel.
The fact is that copper at high concentrations is toxic to the body and has a nasty habit of easily react with acids, even weak, present in many foods. E 'for this reason that you can use it only for preparations such as polenta, which do not involve acids. In some regions of India until the beginning of the 90s was widespread among the children a deadly disease: Indian childhood cirrhosis. The disease mainly affecting children who lived in rural areas, between six months and five years of age. For a long time its origin snowball machine remained a mystery until 1978 when it was discovered a correlation between the levels of copper in the liver and symptoms of the disease. The main accused were containers of copper, used for boiling and storing milk. The copper in milk and went from there into the liver of children with fatal. Now, with an invitation to stop using copper pots and pans, this disease has almost disappeared from India. Before treatment
Even if you do not have a kettle for cooking polenta, maybe you have some old ornament in copper, some pudding mold, or some old ladle hanging on the wall for decoration. I like the red color of copper. Unfortunately, by the time the surface is oxidized, it becomes dull and darkens. Or patch of greenish colors, due to copper carbonate. To return to shine copper is quite simple, thanks to its sensitive-and that of its oxide-acids. snowball machine There are many specific products snowball machine on the market, but the old grandmother's snowball machine remedy, to clean with vinegar and salt, or lemon juice and salt, and elbow grease of course, it works fine. Obvious: both the lemon that vinegar is acidic, snowball machine while the salt acts as an abrasive.
Now, if you consider that the tomato is naturally acidic, and that the ketchup also contains vinegar, here found a new use (in my opinion the most noble of the other, but maybe I'm biased). The advantage over the method "Grandma's" is that there is a lot less effort: the ketchup is very dense, snowball machine and it is sufficient stenderne a veil object to be cleaned, leave it on for 30 minutes, then rinse. During treatment After treatment
Aluminum also is sensitive to acids, but if you hope to clean your old coffee pot with the same method unfortunately I have to disappoint you: I've tried and it does not work. Probably the acidity is too weak. To the next.
Nice idea of ketchup to clean copper, also want to do some testing on silver, in any case, should cost less than the puzzolentissimi products that are on the market, plus they require a lot of elbow grease and dirty hands . As for the old coffee I use the good old hydrochloric acid, store-bought version snowball machine unscented, scrubbed with a rag or, in the most difficult to reach, with a cotton swab. I do not trust to leave them in the bath is not to further snowball machine ruin the handle is not to risk damaging the safety valve. I do not know to what extent snowball machine this treatment remove the aluminum compounds, snowball machine but it certainly removes the traces left by the coffee that never disappear as you wash the

Today an "argument" inflated, very inflated ... and with one color: red. The Ketchup: this stranger! Personally I do not buy it, do not eat it and I almost do not like.
