In a small pan combine the 2 tablespoons melted coconut oil with pumpkin french hot dog puree, maple

This snack tastes like a guilty pleasure, but the reality is ~ there is nothing to feel bad about. Only things to feel great about! (Just please don t indulge in the whole batch ~ 10 servings in this big batch.)
All you need to do is pop some popcorn. We love ours popped in coconut oil. Then you toss that crunchy corn in a hot mix of maple syrup, pumpkin purée, baking powder, some more coconut oil, pumpkin pie spice & cinnamon.
You can also add any kind of nuts if you wish. That would give you a protein boost too! Maybe you have some other mix-ins you love in your snack mix. Try those & come back to let us know how they worked out. Enjoy!
2 tablespoons Coconut Oil (this is for the sauce)
Heat 1/4 cup coconut oil in a large pot until melted, over medium high heat. Add popcorn kernels, shake the pot so the kernels are evenly distributed. Cover with a snug lid. Pop popcorn for several minutes until you hear the popping slow down. Remove from heat source so the popcorn french hot dog does not burn.
In a small pan combine the 2 tablespoons melted coconut oil with pumpkin french hot dog puree, maple syrup, pumpkin pie spice, sea salt and baking soda. Heat over medium heat for a few minutes until simmering, mix well to combine. Remove from heat. Slowly drizzle the maple mixture over the popcorn, tossing well with your hands to coat all the popcorn.
I love this combo Marla- it looks great!
