Phoenix, AZ August 24, 2012 The Aurora Awards has named Candee Productions, Inc. as a winner of Two Platinum Awards and Seven Gold Awards in the 17 TH Annual Aurora Awards for their pieces commissioned frituursnacks by Republic Services, Inc. titled I Wear the Star (Platinum and Gold), RSI: Controlling Distracted Driving 2012 (Platinum and Gold), RSI: The Road Ahead (Gold), One Fleet (Gold), RSI: Automation Single Stream frituursnacks Recycling (Gold), RSI: Route Observation (English) (2 Golds).
The Aurora Awards was created in 1996 with the goal of letting a wide range of film and video producers compete in the same competition. Films are judged by the same criteria frituursnacks despite their individual specialties. It s easy to find a competition if you make commercials, but where can you go if your company specializes in court room depositions, for example? says Quinn Orr, one of The Aurora Awards founders. What we are trying to do is create one place where the Commer cial Director, the Documentary frituursnacks Director, the Corporate Producer, the University Relations guy and the small independent shop can all get measured by the same yardstick. There are so many forms of media today, and excellence can be found and should be recognized in all forms. That s what we do.
The 2012 season marks the 17th Anniversary of the Aurora Awards a film and video competi frituursnacks tion that started small, but grew and now receives entries from around the world. This year, we saw entries from companies like American Express, Copenhagen Film Company, Lexus, frituursnacks ExxonMo bil, TAV Airports, Stanley Black and Decker, Ducks Unlimited Canada, Michigan State Police, AARP, Rotary International, Rolls Royce Marina, Travelzoo, Microsoft, Sprint, and many more.
